Spin Spin Spin Mix Tape to celebrating not dying at the gym

So, as you may or may not know, I’ve joined a gym and committed to a year. Each time I don’t go, I feel guilty about blowing my membership. I’ve been pretty good about it so far, going 3-5 days a week but one day I got bored of just going onto the ellipitcal machine, so I decide to try a spinning class.
Spinning (or indoor cycling) was INTENSE. What made it intense was that once in awhile we had to pedal while standing up. I nearly collapsed (the instructor was nice about it because she knew it was my first class).
So to celebrate me surviving my first spin class, I made a mix tape (using the DJ name Am-E, get it?), partly inspired by the instructor playing My Moon My Man (Boys Noize Remix) briefly before class. Read the rest of this entry »

Kicking off Creative JavaScript Weekends!
I am inspired by the launch of the CreativeJS website so I’ve decided to do one or two experiments in creative uses of JavaScript either before, during, or after the weekend and blog about them here. These experiments may include some info viz, digital toys, animations, and what not. And all of it will run in current generation browsers through the use of HTML5 and Javascript. So stay tuned. (0)

Briefly addicted to Minecraft
You can tell because I spent two and half hours building a condo with floor to ceiling windows, a rooftop pool (originally going to be a lava pool), and a river running through it.

My first blog post for a major media company
In my last semester of college (2007), I was an intern for MTV’s games news (though it wasn’t MTV News, the way the company divided itself was counterintuitive) outfit. They had a blog and they would occasionally produce online video segments, that would also appear between TV shows. I had to write a post for their blog. More... (0)
