Girl Talk

[more photos here] I really need to be more picky about the concerts I go to and to stop going to shows that AREN’T 21+. I had a good time at Girl Talk but I felt old and I’m only 23! The differences between today’s teens and teens from when I was that age are poignant. Like when did neon/latex/shiny tights become cool??? And the comeback of 80′s fashion? I like vintage dress but the the angles and looseness of 80′s clothing looks messy and blocky.



Anyway, as for the actual concert, Girl Talk did a good set (Feed the Animals) which made up for the unmemorable sets done by “Krak” Attack and DeathSet. Jess wanted to get on stage, so we along with hundreds of other concert go-ers bummed rushed stage left. Jess and I sorta tripped and fell on the stairs. I also felt my head being crushed between two tall hipsters. But we made it onto the stage! We spent the rest of the night dancing in front of the entire audience. It’s was fun dancing on stage and watching the massive crowd.

I also tried to take a picture of Girl Talk but he was surrounded by a gaggle of teenage girls, so I couldn’t get a clear photo of him.











It was good times, but I don’t think I’d go to another Girl Talk concert. I’m getting too old (mature? stuffy?) for this $hit.
