Current reading habits and mind spaces
So, over the past month or so, I’ve been finishing books every 1.51 weeks, which is the most reading I’ve done since graduating from college (which I’m ashamed to say). Since I’m going back to school, I figure I should get used to reading (analog) books again and read books that I won’t have time to read while studying. Read the rest of this entry »

McNamara in Context – Errol Morris Blog – NYTimes.com.
I don’t know much about the Vietnam War. American History sorta lies in the periphery of my consciousness, but Errol Morris’ sorta-obituary for McNamara really struck a chord with me. McNamara was a man who was torn between his duty to the president and his personal principles of being rational. And Morris’ piece is a reminder of how complex our dealings with the world can be.
